ABOUT SCHOOL
SHEMHS established during the year 1984 for the enlistment and promotion of education among locals who are lagging behind in the field of education.we have providing quality education as per govt .syllabus and also Arabic madrasa course by collecting nominal fees,and also a women’s Arabic college which provides Afsal-Ul-Ulema course exclusively for girls.This school has beev achived good result in SSLC public exams conducted so far.As Principal ,I feel proud and privilege to present our School Annual Report.This report briefly conveys SHEMS activities and achievements.In this report I have made efforts to present all possible information.
Total strength in the entire school is more than 800.Majority of the students are from common economic level.Excellent and Enthusiastic faculties are trying all their level best in guiding the students and therby increase their level best in guiding the students and therby increase their skills and thrills with optimum capacity.
I am extremely proud to say during the last seven years we could send seven SSLC batches dedicated forward an excellent performance.
Permenent recognition for high school classes has been accorded with effect from 01-06-06
by the govt.of kerala.Moreover,our school is a permanent center for the SSLC examination we presented 132 students for the SSLC examination March 2008 and achieved 100% result.
Our school received Yenepoya Foundation Academic Excellency Award for the last two years (2007 and 2008) with cash award and individual awards to meritorious students Zakiya,Naheem,Khalisa and Ambrin securing A+ in all the subjects in March 2008.The Management and staff hope the same in the coming years too.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The institution provides a vivid programme of co-curricular activities to strengthen the physical and mental power of every student such as debates,seminars,games,sports and other cultural activities including social service work.Our school is well equipped with all sports materials.In addition,a trained PET is also appointed.
Various clubs are started with the intention of a developing the personality of the students and functioning in the scientific way.magazine is started to develop the habit of collections and improve the skill of writing.
To make the student familiar with the democracy a school parliament is set up.Through the election process school head boy,school head girl,sports secretary,arts secretary are selected. The students union has the following office bearers for year 2008-2009.

CELEBRATIONS
As a part of various festivals,Independence day,Onam,Teachers day,Gandhi Jayanthi and Childrens day are celebrated in a befitting manner.

Library with wide collection of books on all aspects.To provide computer education a well designed computer lab and well equipped science lab.Facilities for higher studyof Afsal-ulama for girls in Arabic.Separate Mosque is built in campus to offer prayers.Spacious playground with natural and hillock background scenery.conveyance service for local and outstation students.
SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATION
it gives me great pleasure that our school has successfully completed 25 years various programs are planned to celebrate the SILVER JUBILEE year of our school.
Vanamahothsava:celebrated vanamahothsava on july 5th by distributing plants to all students.
Awareness of chikungunia: House visits conducted on 25th August to the neighbouring
homes to make aware of the chikungunia under the leadership of Ratna prakash and some selected students
